Squid Game is back! If you’ve watched Season 2, you know how much the soundtrack adds to the tension, emotions, and overall Squid Game experience.
So today, I’m ranking my Top 5 Soundtracks from the season!
I’ve already talked about #2 Mingle in my last post, and I have got you covered!
Now, if you’ve been keeping up with my videos, you already know what my #1 pick is (no surprises there!). But before we get to that in Part 2, let’s talk about #3 to #5!
#5 - Way Forward
Let’s start with a chill, emotional piece. This one plays in some of the more heartfelt moments, and it just hits differently. It has this deep, melancholic sound that makes you reflect on everything happening in the game. Not as intense as the others, but definitely one of the most beautiful tracks.
Difficulty Level: ⭐️
Capo: None
BPM: 98
#4 - Red Light Green Light
Okay, this one is pure nightmare fuel 😨 You already know what happens when this song plays. It’s the same frightening melody from Season 1, but somehow, it still manages to be terrifying. It’s simple, repetitive, and instantly recognizable—just hearing it is enough to make you freeze in place.
Difficulty Level: ⭐️
Capo: None
BPM: 90
#3 - Pink Soldiers
Ahh yes, the iconic “Squid Game” theme. Those creepy, robotic vocal chants and that ominous beat just scream danger. This track made a huge impact in Season 1, and they brought it back in Season 2 for a reason—it’s the sound of power, mystery, and fear. If you ever hear this in real life… run.
Difficulty Level: ⭐️
Capo: None
BPM: 120
Bonus: The Wake-Up Song
I know, I know—some of you were expecting this one in the list! That super-fast, chaotic wake-up song that plays whenever the players are rudely jolted out of their sleep. It’s actually the third movement of Joseph Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto in E-flat major. 🎺
Buuuut… let’s be real—it’s way too fast for me to play on guitar. 😂 So while I’d love to include it, I’ll leave that one for someone else to tackle! Here's a short tab of the main melody so you can try it yourself!
And that’s it for Part 1! 🎵 Do you agree with my picks so far? Let me know if you’d rank them differently.
Part 2 is coming soon, where I’ll talk about my already-revealed #1 pick! If you haven’t seen my video on it yet, now’s your chance. 😉
Also, if you enjoyed this, share it with your guitarist friends so you guys can have fun learning together.
Happy playing, and as always, have fun with your guitar journey!🎸
